| Cool Stuff I've Done in the Last 30 Years | I have lived in WA since 1979, after 2 winters in Mammoth Lakes, and spring/summer at U. of Ore. Graduated from U. of W., then got Master's in Mental Health counseling. Spent 20 years in that area, primarily working with teenagers in group homes and as a state social worker, and then 7 years in a nursing home dealing with end of life issues. Decided needed a new perspective on life and living, so went back to school in 2000 for my teaching certification. Thus, unable to attend 25th reunion. I have taught 5th grade the past 4 years and really enjoy it. I tend to get a lot of the Sp. Ed. kids, particularly boys with behavior problems, but these kids are nothing compared to who I use to work with, a really different perspective than most of the other teachers in my school. I have gotten to travel some in Europe, briefly in Nepal and Myanmar, and Singapore. My father, Lee, lives in Singapore so would love to get back there, with my kids. Hope all is well with you and your family and you have a great time at the 30th reunion. I, unfortunately, will not be able to attend this reunion either. I already have a camping trip planned with family on the WA coast and just could not make a plane trip to SLO work.
